The fuel surcharge applied to LTL shipments is based on the national average cost of diesel fuel, as announced each week by the DOE. The effective date each week will be the Wednesday following the Monday announcement of the national average on-highway diesel fuel index.

• Charges subject to a minimum surcharge of $2.00 per shipment.
• The DOE does not make the new index available until Monday 4:00 pm EST, excluding Federal holidays where it would not be available until 4:00 pm the next business day. 1-202-586-6966 is the DOE number to call for the weekly National Diesel Fuel Price Index report.
