Wreaths Across America 2017

In 2017, AAA Cooper Transportation® was one of over 210 companies that participated in the handling and delivering of wreaths to be placed on veterans’ graves. AAA Cooper received the plaque to commemorate our efforts for Wreaths Across America.

AAA Cooper Transportation® received a Certificate of Membership for 2018 from the American Trucking Associations (ATA), the largest national trade association for the trucking industry. The certificate was given to AAA Cooper by Chris Spear, President & CEO of ATA, and Dave Brodie, Senior VP Membership of ATA.

AAA Cooper Transportation®, ISO 9001 certified for over a decade, announces certification to the newest set of standards; ISO 9001:2015. The certification process looked closely at how AAA Cooper discovers and considers customer requirements, the processes through which those requirements are met, the methods used to control those processes and leadership’s engagement in the entire model.

AAA Cooper makes certain promises to customers as part of the Quality Management System; to provide Exceptional Customer Service and On Time Performance with Minimum Loss and Damage using World-Class Safety and Equipment. To support those promises, AAA Cooper created a network of clearly defined process, each appropriately aligned and backed up by procedures which, when effectively executed, will conform to customers’ requirements. This certification validates that AAA Cooper’s Quality Management System is aligned with and meets the requirements of the international standards of ISO 9001:2015.

AAA Cooper’s ISO 9001:2015 certification is rare among service providers and virtually unheard of in motor cargo. Congratulations and thank you to our team members for helping AAA Cooper keep our promises to our customers.

SmartWay Registration

SmartWay is a voluntary and cost-free program that supports companies’ initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from freight supply chain transportation activities. Operational strategies, data management tools and verified technology supports are provided. The SmartWay Partnership is a domestic and international freight and supply chain program that manages data for over 3500 partners across all domestic shipping modes in the US and Canada. SmartWay implements its goals to lower freight carbon footprints by conducting analysis and research of freight impacts, engaging with freight experts, anticipating and responding to trends, developing strategic resources and communication strategies, and serving as an international model. International collaborations exist with Mexico, China and other Asian nations, Europe, and Latin America.

CCJ Top 250 2017

Commercial Carrier Journal (CCJ) has ranked the top for-hire trucking companies since the late 1960s. The CCJ Top 250 is the most comprehensive ranking of active carriers, taken into account not only the revenues posted by a trucking company but also its fleet size and employment base.

According to a report by the U.S. Department of Commerce, e-commerce represented roughly $390 billion of U.S. retail sales in 2016, a 15-percent increase from the previous year. AAA Cooper is excited to be ranked among this year’s CCJ Top 250 companies.

Tri-ED Thoroughbred Award

On Tuesday January 23, 2018, Cincinnati Service Center Manager Bill Glivar and Cincinnati Sales Territory Manager Bobby Vires attended the Northern Kentucky Tri-County luncheon and, on behalf of AAA Cooper Transportation®, accepted The Thoroughbred Award for our company’s economic development in Northern Kentucky.

The Tri-County Economic Development Corporation (Tri-ED) blends public and private funds to enhance the business climate in and foster regional cooperation among Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties. They market and promote Northern Kentucky on a national and international basis as a desirable location for new or expanding businesses, and assist existing local companies to expand operations and grow their customer base.
